Meet Isabella

Isabella De La Torre is a classically trained soprano specializing in performance, arts administration, and music education.

She recently earned her Master of Music in Voice and Opera from Northwestern University, where she studied with renowned pedagogue W. Stephen Smith. During her time at Northwestern, she performed with the acclaimed Northwestern University Opera Theater in numerous productions, including the roles of Micaëla in Carmen and Mrs. Johannes "Ma" Zegner in the Chicago-area premiere of Missy Mazzoli's Proving Up.

In addition to her performance career, De La Torre is passionate about arts administration. In 2026, she served as a Program Assistant for the Ravinia Festival's Steans Institute. From 2025 to 2026, she was the coordinator for Northwestern University's Vocal Solo Class, managing scheduling, communications, and stage operations for more than 125 students in a weekly performance class.

De La Torre holds two bachelor's degrees from Chapman University: a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.
